Might and Magic is one of the oldest RPG series around, finding its origins as a 1986 computer game, pioneering many genre staples and setting the stage for many sequels and spin-offs.

One of the most unique off-shoots headed to the Nintendo DS courtesy of Capybara Games – Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. The game later saw a release on consoles at the time, but it was never ported further – until now.

Dotemu has confirmed that its next remastering project is the puzzle RPG and its not a barebones port. All previous DLC is included, online play is supported, and character portraits have received a refresh.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes will release for Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam this summer.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
