Late last month, players of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were given the chance to catch two brand-new Paradox Pokémon, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, in a new Tera Raid event. What a few players quickly discovered, however, was that if they defeated Walking Wake or Iron Leaves during the event and had not updated their copy of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to version 1.2.0, the Tera Raid would finish with them catching an Egg, rather than the Pokémon they defeated. To make matters worse, once they did update to version 1.2.0, they were unable to catch the Pokémon that had turned into an Egg, thanks to both Walking Wake and Iron Leaves only being able to be caught once per save file.

The Pokémon Company is looking to rectify this in another version update scheduled for late April, which will contain a bug fix allowing players who caught the glitch Eggs to capture Walking Wake and/or Iron Leaves in a Tera Raid event that will run alongside this update. TPC also made sure to note that more details and the exact date of the pending update will be shared at a later time.
