“Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven,” says Satan in John Milton’s Paradise Lost. But what if you’re a sinner serving out a sentence in heaven? That’s the premise behind Neon White, the flashy, speedrunner-focused card-FPS hybrid that’s out now, complete with a stylish launch trailer.

Let the dulcet tones of the legendary Steve Blum narrate the game’s premise as you check out the frenetic combat, stylish parkour, and flashy story: about “Neons” plucked from hell to do the dirty work upstairs. Blum plays the eponymous “White,” one of the many assassins fighting for a permanent spot in heaven… but the other ones look familiar. Did he know them in a past life? You’ll have to buy the game from the eShop to find out.
