We’ve known that The Last Blade 2’s Hibiki Takane would be coming to Samurai Shodown for quite some time, but now SNK has finally given us a look at her in action. Maintaining her quick-drawn iaijutsu techniques and reserved demeanor, she manages to both fit in and stand out amongst the game’s core cast. In other words, it’s the perfect intercompany crossover for this fighting game revival.
Players will be able to download and play as Hibiki beginning on April 28th. After her there will be two more (currently unannounced) characters in the game’s Season Pass 3, including a guest from the Guilty Gear series. Be on the lookout for more news on those reveals and additions in the future.
