Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy have now reached over a million combined sales, and to celebrate, publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust have a free gift for fans of the action-RPG series.

Each game will receive a free, unique DLC costume, with the first game getting the “White Lily of Summer” outfit and its sequel the “High Summer Formal” costume. No release date or time has been revealed at the time of reporting.

Fans hoping for a third installment in the series will be interested to know that in Koei Tecmo’s recent livestream, which commemorated the million-sale milestone, there were hints of an Atelier Ryza 3 in the works. According to a translation from Gematsu, the panelists responded to a fan question, “Will there be an Atelier Ryza 3?” Character Designer Toridamono had the most interesting response:

Producer Junzo Hosoi recently told Siliconera that he is interested in making an Atelier Ryza 3, though it “depends on everyone’s support.” Hopefully, the recent sales numbers will serve as a good indication to the team that there is enough demand to justify a third game. Meanwhile, fans of the broader Atelier franchise can look forward to the Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack, launching on Nintendo Switch on April 22nd, 2021.
