If you’ve enjoyed the likes of Puyo Puyo, Yoshi’s Cookie, or Panel de Pon as much as I have then the Nintendo eShop has something new just for you. Petal Crash, a labor of love that aims to emulate these and others in the genre, has just been released for all your competitive and contemplative block-sliding needs.

The game’s aesthetic, full of high fantasy creatures and floral motifs, blends well with its deceptively simple gameplay. Players move blocks along their playing field, trying to make a match. When they do, any adjacent blocks are sent flying off in the opposite direction and can trigger matches of their own.
You can pick up Petal Crash on the Nintendo Switch eShop, as well as PS4 and PC.
