We’ve seen several conventions and events canceled in the wake of COVID-19, and in Japan that includes the second annual Fire Emblem Expo. Originally scheduled to take place May 5th and 6th, an unofficial celebration has stepped in to rally people together.
Though the gatherings, concerts, and merch may be gone fans are still celebrating their love for Nintendo’s strategy series online by uploading fanart and more under a united banner – #エアFEexpo.
Let's do the #エアFEExpo.
May 5 and 6.
Upload fan art, performances, and cosplay with #エアFEexpo, and talk about games and characters.
It doesn't matter if you are good or bad at it, whether it's a past work or a new work.
No reposting.💀This is only unofficial fan event.😉 pic.twitter.com/pJJIxxUyyV

For #エアFEexpo , I'm going to make this little thread of Fire Emblem illustrations I've done!
I'll start with some #FE3H girls I've had the pleasure of drawing for their VAs! Petra, Dorothea, Flayn and Leone ☺️ pic.twitter.com/S1ygPQz6h2

Searching and scrolling the hashtag will provide plenty of looks at the now thirty year old legacy of heroes, their struggles, and their bonds. It’s a glimmer of unity that stands out in a world we increasingly feel alone in. If the series has ever spoken to you and life feels unbearable, let’s remember that together we ride, and that anything can change.
