After the previous event, in which Animal Crossing New Horizons spirits arrived, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is gearing up for another themed online tournament. We may not have any idea when a new Metroid game will arrive, but this weekend at least one of its most iconic techniques is taking the entire Smash roster for a spin.
The three-day Super Smash Bros. Ultimate event tourney "In For a Spin" starts on 17/04! In this one-off tourney, your normal jumps become Screw Attacks. The further you advance, the better the spirit you'll win! pic.twitter.com/ncrXSqet57

The Screw Attack turns Samus’ jump into a destructive (and sweet) series of flips and has been her recovery in Smash since the N64. Now though, everyone will be equipping its item-based version permanently for the duration of the tourney. Depending on your character choice this could see their aerial options changed dramatically and will alter their recoveries.
It’s no Prime 4, but the “In For a Spin” tournament will come to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate this weekend, starting April 17th.
