For the past two decades, Sony has held something of a monopoly on the baseball video game genre, being the exclusive holders of the Major League Baseball license. As a result, the MLB The Show games have been exclusive to PlayStation platforms – until now.
As announced via the official MLB website, Sony Interactive Entertainment will be bringing the game to more platforms going forward as early as 2021 – and a telling tweet from Nintendo of America suggests the Switch is among them.
