The Pokémon World Championships 2019 opening ceremony has just concluded, and it brought with it two new trailers.
For starters let’s look at the latest Pokémon Sword & Shield video, which focuses primarily on abilities and items, fitting for a trailer that debut at a competitive tournament. There are some powerful abilities here, like Galarian Weezing negating all abilities on the field and Corviknight being impervious to stat changes, so trainers should definitely start planning ahead!
We also got confirmation that the Sun & Moon era of the Trading Card Game will make way for Sword & Shield with the new “V” sets. We only saw a tease of Zacian and Zamazenta, though.
We’ll surely see only more announcements from the world of Pokémon as we approach Sword & Shield’s November 15 release date, and we’ll be sure to keep you up to date!
