Announced as part of today’s Indie World Showcase, the previously Apple Arcade exclusive title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Splintered Fate will be heading to Nintendo Switch this summer. Set for release in July, this newest Turtles game is a roguelike action title not dissimilar to Hades. The idea is that you team up with friends on a mission to save Splinter where each run is different.

Launched back in May 2023 on iOS, the game has been well-received by mobile players for its solid action and interesting abilities. While this latest console release will be a timed exclusive, it will eventually hit other platforms. It would be great if this had cross-platform multiplayer, which TMNT Shredder’s Revenge incorporated across every release.

As for Switch-exclusive features, Splintered Fate will feature drop-in/drop-out online play with up to four players. It doesn’t look to have an offline option, though we haven’t seen enough of the Switch version to tell just yet. Everything from the iOS original will be present and accounted for, however.
