Announced roughly a month ago, The Pokémon Company and Japanese furniture company Cellutane revealed a new collection to their Pokémon furniture lineup: a giant Psyduck bean bag chair. Colored a bright yellow and adorned with everyone’s favorite confused duck’s face, the bean bag chair is absurd in all the best ways. Who doesn’t want to relax with Psyduck?!
Why are we reporting on this only just now? It recently became available to purchase from Cellutane’s website. Priced at ¥28,400 (roughly $178), you can now add this lovely bit of furniture to your home to impress all of your neighbors… if you live in Japan. The website doesn’t seem to offer international shipping, but I’m sure there will be import sites you can buy this from in the coming weeks.
If you do manage to get this and are worried about staining the cover, Cellutane notes that all of its bean bag chairs have removable covers for cleaning. The website states you should use a laundry net to not damage the design, but it’s completely safe for machine use. You can seemingly replace the beans, too, if they start to get crushed with age.
