With a plethora of recent and upcoming ports of current-gen games, the Switch 2 is proving to be a great home for plenty of games that the original Switch couldn’t quite handle, giving players the ability to bring plenty of great-looking titles on the go. The latest in this line of ports is none other than Kena: Bridge of Spirits from Ember Lab. Hot off the heels of the announcement of a sequel, Kena: Scars of Cosmora, Ember Lab has announced that the first Kena game will be making its way to Nintendo’s newest console this spring.

Originally launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2021, with an Xbox launch coming in 2024, Kena: Bridge of Spirits was an indie darling, winning Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards in 2021. Kena: Bridge of Spirits for Switch 2 will launch with all of the features and updates already available on other platforms, including a New Game+ mode, accessibility features, additional outfits for Kena, and more. While there isn’t an official release date yet, Ember Lab has given a Spring 2026 release window, meaning that Kena and her Rot friends will be landing on Switch 2 very soon.
