Collectors of video game trinkets and doodads will be happy to learn that Good Smile and Square Enix have announced a slew of new figurines that will be releasing this year. While the highlights are from the Final Fantasy series, including Final Fantasy VII Remake and X, there are also some new figurines from Persona 5 Royal, Monster Hunter, and Guilty Gear -Strive-.
I’m particularly fond of what Good Smiles calls the “Adorable Arts Peti” line for VII Remake, which imagines the cast in chibi form. A regular sized figurine of Tidus from X looks impressive, though it’s still in the prototype phase. Tifa gets some love, too, although she’s been rising in popularity ever since VII Remake.

The figurines do slide into NSFW territory with designs based on characters from NekoPara, a cat girl visual novel with adult elements. I’m not sure I’d want that on my shelf, but they are impressive all the same. No pricing has been announced for these, but since they aren’t massive in scale, I can’t imagine they’ll top $150.
