It’s official! After almost a year of speculation and rumors, Stern Pinball has officially announced that its next machine is indeed Pokémon!

Not much is known about the machine just yet, but in typical Stern fashion, we should be getting a full reveal in the coming weeks following today’s teaser trailer. One thing I do know from my experience with home pinball, though, is that these machines can cost a pretty penny. Pokémon, like other Stern releases, will be available in three different versions: a Home Edition that retails for $6,999, a Premium Edition priced at $9,699, and a Limited Edition that comes in at $12,999. If you’re curious what each version gets you, be sure to check out our guide to the world of home pinball below!

While the teaser itself didn’t show anything beyond the Pokémon logo, it did feature the original Pokémon theme song from the anime. Could that be a hint that the machine will be focused on Kanto, the anime, or maybe both? Stay tuned for more details!
