Today’s Nintendo Switch Partner Direct showed an all-new exclusive Switch 2 title, featuring hairy dinosaurs roaming around a dilapidated land under a Japanese subway.

Described as a “survival-puzzle-action game,” Adglobe’s Tokyo Scramble is as weird as it sounds, and is stomping its way to the Nintendo eShop next week.

Players control 18 year-old Anne, a high schooler on her way to meet her friends when a fissure causes her subway car to plummet deep underground. Far below the surface of Tokyo await creatures evolved from dinosaurs, which Anne calls “Zino.” She will need to utilize stealth to avoid enemies’ sight, and apply various traps to outwit foes.

Despite the plot centering around an “engaging teen drama,” there appears to be plenty of goofy elements to enjoy in the gameplay. The trailer shows a large dinosaur running on an escalator like a treadmill, velociraptors getting pelted with beach balls, and a beast being lifted up by machinery crane game-style.

When does Tokyo Scramble release on Switch 2?

Tokyo Scramble will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 11th via the Nintendo eShop. It’s available to pre-order now at $29.99 / £24.99.
