CES 2026 kicked off yesterday in Las Vegas, Nevada, and computer peripheral manufacturer Belkin was on-site to announce a whole slew of new products. While most of them are focused on charging your mobile device on the go, one neat accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2 might be a solid choice as a carrying case for new owners. Called the “Charging Case Pro,” this rather chonky case comes packed with a 10,000mAh power bank to comfortably charge your Switch 2 while also protecting it from the elements.

I’m not going to lie and try to upsell this product to you, but there are some neat features here. On the outside of the case is a small LED indicator to show the current charge of the case’s battery. The inside boasts a stand that can prop your Switch 2 up for tabletop play while continuing to charge the device. Like most Switch cases, it can carry a number of game cards for easy transportation. The case even has a slot for a smart tracker so that you can keep tabs on your case if it gets stolen.
Where it starts to hurt a little is with the price tag. Available for $100 with three colors available (Charcoal, Green, and Sand), that is maybe a little steep for a Switch 2 carrying case. The battery is the likely reason for that, and I can’t say this isn’t a convenient method of getting both a battery and case in one. The case has enough room to store some cables, Joy-Con rails, and a cleaning cloth, so it’s not solely a glorified battery pack.
This might be out of some people’s price range, but I do think there is a market for Belkin’s bulky protective case.
