In the latest trailer for Capcom’s upcoming action RPG Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, we get a look at the main objective players will be tackling in the game: habitat restoration. As the description reads, “it’s your duty to save endangered monster species from extinction. Through Habitat Restoration, save and restore monster numbers and with your conservation efforts, discover new monstie companions.” That’s certainly a stark departure from the main series, where you basically cause extinction.
While this trailer doesn’t give us much insight into what the story will be about, it does set up a rather jovial group of characters you’ll be interacting with. I think I could do without the English voice acting, but I like that the Palico companion is a bit of a hard ass. It’s also fun to see that you can ride the different monsters, which seems to be taken directly from Monster Hunter Rise.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 will be hitting PC and consoles on March 13th, 2026.
