Nintendo has announced that it will be releasing a rather lavish vinyl set for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s soundtrack in the West next year. Set to hit shelves on June 19th, 2026, this is actually the first time Nintendo will be releasing such a set in the West. For years now, fans have been clamoring for similar products to what Japanese stores get, so this is actually a test bed for any future releases.
The vinyl will come in two different versions. One is a regular double vinyl set for $49.99 that contains 34 curated tracks from the game. The full-scale eight vinyl set will run $194.99 and will have all 130 tracks from the game. Both versions are available in a standard black vinyl version, or with colored discs containing artwork from the game. The full set looks immaculate with its various discs, but I’m partial to the double vinyl blue records.

In an article posted by Variety, Nintendo of America’s Bill Trinen stated this vinyl will gauge interest in any future products of a similar vein. “In the Japanese market, CD is still a pretty prominent format there, and they do a lot of video game soundtracks on CD in Japan,” Trinen explained, “and they’ve been doing that for years and years. Here in the U.S., we haven’t been releasing much in the way of physical soundtracks at all. And so partly, this is a little bit about us trying to gauge and understand what is the demand for physical soundtracks in the United States.”
The soundtrack set will be available to pre-order in the coming days. You’ll be able to purchase it direct from label Laced Records, from the My Nintendo Store, or from indie shops Black Screen Records, Rough Trade, and VoV. The records are set to release in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the EU.
