With how infrequently Nintendo posts Pokétoon episodes, you’d be forgiven for not remembering them. Thankfully, Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about these shorts, and a new one is now available on YouTube. While there are no English captions at the moment, it’s not hard to figure out what is going on here. A family would be lost without their trusty Kangaskhan, who makes an incredible secretary.

Running at roughly seven minutes, the short goes over a day in the life of a mother and her child as she prepares for her livestreamed commentating job. It’s an interesting setup, and it allows Kangaskhan to flex her cuteness. I appreciate the touch of having the baby in the pouch handing a paper to the mother, making her feel like an indispensable part of the family. I wish I had a Kangaskhan to help me.

I’m sure Nintendo will eventually provide English subtitles for this, but for now, you can reasonably make heads and tails of what is going on. YouTube’s auto captions are also fine enough to get the gist across.
