So you have a Nintendo Switch 2 and want a top-class racing game with tons of personality and multiple modes to dive into. Sure, you could grab Mario Kart World for 80 whole American dollars… or you could save some cash and go for something more refined, more fit for an auteur gamer like yourself. 

Look no further than Kirby Air Riders, freshly off of a dedicated Direct (which was 45 minutes long by the way, much more than World’s 17), which per Nintendo’s product page for the game will be selling for $70, just like Donkey Kong Bananza

 

 

All jokes aside, there’s something irksome about having to keep an eye out for which tier of pricing a new Switch 2 game might fall into. If MK World ends up being the exception rather than the rule, seeing $70 as the new standard may be a reality before factoring things like Switch 2 upgrades for existing games — I’m looking at you, Metroid Prime 4. Or at least I would be, if you’d hurry up and come out…
