Speeding ahead to be the first Nitendo Switch 2 exclusive to add songs to Nintendo Music, it’s Kirby! Accidentally leaked a bit early and confirmed during its dedicated Direct, Kirby Air Riders has added seven tracks to Nintendo’s music streaming app as an early preview.

Among them are both the Japanese and English versions of the game’s main theme, “Starlit Journey.” It seems like Sakurai has got a thing for vocal songs after Lifelight’s prominent place in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — the Air Riders Direct even opened with Starlit Journey!

The other songs represent some of the revealed stages, those being the following:

  • Floria Fields
  • Waveflow Waters
  • Steamgust Forge
  • Mount Amberfalls

Most curious is a song simply titled Bonus Track. This 25 second piece was what accompanied the original Air Riders teaser from the first Switch 2 Direct, which is now revealed to be a vocalless sample of “Starlit Journey.”

Other, familiar Kirby songs were heard during the Air Riders Direct, so here’s hoping for plenty more to come when the game releases on November 20th!

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
