The internet has been ablaze ever since Nintendo and Universal revealed the two lead actors for its upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda film. With Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason set to star as Link and Zelda, respectively, obviously people are taking to Google to search what the duo has been up to all these years. If you fall into that camp, you’ve likely noticed some fun easter eggs pop up when searching for either actor.
If you go to Google and type in “Bo Bragason,” on top of the page of results will be the phrase, “Well excuse me, Princess,” with an emoji of a female elf. Searching for Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will display, “Kyaaaa! Hyaaaaa!” with a male elf emoji. Both are references to various pieces of Zelda media, including the often memed animated cartoon from the ‘80s.
This is hardly the most extravagant of Google easter eggs, but it’s still a fun nod to a beloved franchise that has long since become a legend in its own right.
