With Donkey Kong Bananza set to release this week, it was pretty inevitable that someone would get their hands on an early copy of the game. Since the Nintendo Switch 2 title actually has a full physical release instead of some ludicrous “game-key card” doohickey, that means some lucky few are experiencing all the joys of DK’s latest adventure and might take to social media to share their discoveries. Oh, how lovely it is to exist in the age of information.

While I haven’t personally seen any leaks to verify their veracity, let this post be a warning to stay diligent in the coming days. Donkey Kong Bananza doesn’t release until July 17th, 2025, so if you want to go in completely blind, that has just become harder to do.
