Nintendo has announced a new in-person event, taking place just outside their new store in San Francisco! On Friday, May 23rd, players could begin to explore the Pikmin Bloom Mini Walk. Running until July 23rd, visitors can use their Pikmin Bloom app to discover seven special spots within Union Square. (Here’s a fun example: Walking past a certain sweets shop could earn you a Gold Seedling that would grow into a Macaron Decor Pikmin!)

There’s also a pop-up tent event being held from July 4th to July 6th, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can stop by the tent, and receive a physical Mini Walk map, take a picture with the AR cam and receive 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Nintendo advises visitors to keep an eye out for Pikmin that may have made it to the physical world.

This is the second Mini Walk to be held in the United States, with the first located in the San Diego Zoo late last year. While you’re at Union Square, be sure to check out other activities and floral displays in the area!
