One of the most enjoyable parts of the Pokémon franchise is the immersion; many fans have at some point or another imagined what it might be like to live in the Pokémon universe. Fortunately for those who imagine cozying up with their favorite Pokémon friends, the life-size plushies from the Pokémon Center exist precisely to scratch that itch. There’s been a handful over the years ranging from all sorts of sizes, and the most recent one to join the ranks is an adorable laying down Eevee.
As announced last weekend, a new life-size Eevee plush will be available later this week. The release date is set for April 24th on the Pokémon Center, with it being available on other retailers such as Amazon Japan as well. The price is listed at ¥3,850, and while the US price is not yet known, the sleeping Jirachi plush shares the same price and was listed at $40 in the US, albeit over a year ago now. The exact size also isn’t known, but seeing as it is life-size, it’s safe to expect a size around 30cm or so in accordance with the Pokédex.
Fortunately for fans of Eevee, this life-size plush won’t be breaking the bank any time soon unlike some of the larger ones they’ve released. If you’d like an Eevee of your own to keep you company, be sure to check out the Pokémon Center later this week to pick one up! This plush is part of the Year of Eevee celebration that Pokémon is hosting this year, so this certainly won’t be the last of the merchandise in the works.
