Without a doubt one of the biggest game releases of the past decade, Elden Ring made a splash on platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and PC back when it released in 2022. Thanks to its underpowered hardware, however, the Nintendo Switch missed out on all the fun in the Lands Between. That changes in 2025 though, as the Nintendo Switch 2 was announced as the home of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition during this morning’s massive Nintendo Switch 2 Direct.

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will feature the base Elden Ring adventure as well as the critically acclaimed Shadow of the Erdtree DLC all in one package. The Tarnished Edition will also feature brand-new armor and a new feature that allows players to customize the appearance of their spectral steed, Torrent.
