LEGO and Nintendo have done some fantastic collaborations in the past and the upcoming Game Boy set looks to continue that trend. As recently spotted by the Instagram account Falcon Brick Studios, the set is primed for an October 1st, 2025, release and will include a staggering 421 pieces to its construction. That means the device might legitimately be the same size as an actual Game Boy, though it obviously won’t be functional in the same manner.

Priced at $59.99, this set looks to be a real doozy for collectors. As we’ve seen with LEGO’s NES set, there is bound to be some gimmick that makes the Game Boy’s screen appear to be playing a game. The buttons might also be pressable, which would create a tactile feeling similar to the original device. I’ve never been the biggest fan of massive LEGO sets, but with over 400 pieces, this might wind up being indistinguishable from the real McCoy.
