Nintendo Music gets a selection of 3DS Street Pass tunes

Without much fanfare, which is pretty typical of Nintendo these days, the Nintendo Music app has received the entire album of 3DS Street Pass songs. Released sometime last night, you can relive memories of heading to conventions and furiously checking your Street Pass plaza for new puzzle pieces or visits from VIPs in the games industry. I have a few interesting Miis on my 3DS from my time at E3, for instance.

The album includes the full 39 tracks from Street Pass which are all of the main themes, the Puzzle Swap music, and even the DLC games that were added towards the end of the 3DS’ life cycle. In total, the album runs 83 minutes and you can even extend most of the songs out to an hour if you’d like. That’s a ton of 3DS nostalgia for the price of a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Now we just need Nintendo to add Street Pass back to the Switch 2 and we’ll be golden.
