When one thinks about the video games with the best music out there, a lot of times RPGs are the first to come to mind. Of course, once RPGs with good music come to mind, Final Fantasy will inevitably follow. Arguably being the face of the genre, Final Fantasy tends to excel in all facets of the formula, including the soundtrack. If you agree with that sentiment, then you’re in luck! Square Enix has just revealed a brand-new album featuring an assortment of iconic Final Fantasy tracks with a cutesy Kawaii twist to them.

The album itself is available as a CD and features a total of 20 songs spanning all the way from the first game to FFXVI. To see the full tracklist, check the official webpage for the list. Pre-orders are available right now on Play-Asia, with the CD coming in at $24.99. Of course, there’s quite an array of merchandise available besides just the album itself; there’s T-shirts, tote bags, a keychain, and an acrylic panel, all featuring the main art with various cute illustrations of Final Fantasy characters.

The album and the associated items are expected to ship out in March 2025, with the pre-order deadline for all but the CD being December 19th. If you do decide to pick up anything from this collection, you can do so at Play-Asia and save 5% on the order by using the code NWIRE24 at checkout. If this all seems up your alley, be sure not to wait too long to pre-order! You wouldn’t want to miss out.
