For the longest time, Nintendo fans in the West could do nothing but look on with envy at the Super Nintendo World theme park in Japan. That was until the opening of the Universal Studios Hollywood location, which marked the park’s debut in the US. With a second one coming next year to Universal Studios Orlando as well, it seems like a better time than ever for Super Nintendo World to get a seat at Universal Studios Hollywood’s upcoming Fan Fest Nights.
These events focus on fandoms ranging from sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, and anime. They’re set to run during weekend nights between April 25th through May 18th, 2025. Seven total franchises have been confirmed as of now: Star Trek, Back to the Future, Dungeons & Dragons, One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Harry Potter, and Super Nintendo World. While the exact details of what will take place for each of these remain unknown, there will undoubtedly be much to enjoy. From merchandise to live presentations and more, there’s likely to be something for everyone.
As mentioned briefly, this ticketed event will take place at Universal Studios Hollywood. If you’re in the area or feel like taking a spring getaway, be sure to mark your calendars!
