This week’s Nintendo Direct gave us our best look yet at the upcoming farming/action game Farmagia. Developed by Marvelous of Rune Factory fame, with art by Fairy Tail’s Hiro Mashima, it definitely looks like a unique spin on the genre, where instead of growing simple crops you’re growing monsters to add to expansive team of critters.

If you’re intrigued and want to see more, Marvelous has shared a new trailer showing the gameplay loop in full. Check it out:

The very end of the trailer also gives us the announcement of an anime being in production though no more specifics were shared.

Farmagia hits the Nintendo Switch, as well as PS5 and PC, on November 1st, 2024.
