The Sonic the Hedgehog Lego theme was a long-time coming on the heels of the blue blur’s Lego Dimensions debut and the Lego Ideas Green Hill Zone set, but it launched to happy fans earlier this year.
Right now the trio of Sonic, Tails, and Amy are represented as Minifigs, alongside a taller Dr. Eggman figure, but that left some obvious gaps. Thankfully that’ll seemingly be remedied with next year with Lego officially showing off upcoming Knuckles, Shadow, and Rouge minifigs in a silly video.
The team is working hard to fix this matter as fast as possible.

Of course it’s possible to read into this clip – are the sets delayed, or is that just goofy shenanigans, typical of Lego Eggman? Either way, we’ll be sure to let you know as and when the sets containing these guys are revealed.
