It was only a few days ago that we learned Mario Kart Tour would be making its final lap when Nintendo announced that its successful mobile app would be receiving its last new content in a few weeks. How fitting is it then that we’ll be saying farewell to our longtime racer friends through the Anniversary Tour this September 19th. Sad, yes, but let’s make the best of it!
This 4th anniversary will be having racers from around the world traversing tracks in some urban varities through City Courses — with Mario and his friends looking quite gold and grand along the way.
It wouldn’t feel right to close out MKT without new apparel. Wave 41 is bringing us something a little more festive and — not just a bland color suit this time (phew!). The Koopa Clown Racing Suit is here to give you some spunk and personality, so enjoy this little gift Nintendo’s here to give during this last lap. Yeah, I think it’s fair to say we can get sentimental!
The Anniversary Tour will wrap up on October 4th at 12:59 a.m. Good luck out there, racers!
