Today, August 31st, is Hatsune Miku’s birthday – her sweet 16, no less (though given that she was 16 years old when she was born, does that make her 32?) And as part of an absolute deluge of Miku songs, art, and projects celebrating her, Pokémon is collabing with the twintailed idol for an 18-song series based on which Pokémon of each type Miku would have (Normal, Grass, Fire, etc.)

The promo art features Miku and Farfetch’d, as Farfetch’d’s stick resembles Miku’s iconic green onion (sometimes misunderstood to be a leek). The collab kicks off on September 29th, with participating producers and virtual singers announced on September 28th. We’ll be sure to provide more details about Project Voltage as it releases!
