As Twitter user 6amerBr0 points out, there are some striking similarities in the new course to the cut “Dokan Course” track from Mario Kart DS’ code. It’s not one-to-one, but several sections in the screenshots match up, and it shares the concept of being all about pipes.
This new (old?) track will debut in Mario Kart Tour’s next tour, and here’s hoping it heads to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, too!
