As Mario Kart Tour’s third Mario vs. Luigi Tour approaches its end, Nintendo has looked to the future for its next mobile excursion. This time around we’re heading to another real-world locale, and much like the recent appearance of Athens its looking like we’ll be visiting another ancient city.
In the teaser image we can see Donkey Kong decked out like a centurion (likely a new variant) while the iconic Roman Colosseum takes up the background… Behind a very angry Chain Chomp, that is.
Here's a sneak peek of what's to come in #MarioKartTour! Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong went ahead to check out the new tour location and sent a picture back. It looks like they're having a blast in a city of beautiful streets and ancient ruins. pic.twitter.com/rycxKCQSFJ

That’s not all, though, we we also have confirmation that Mario Kart Wii’s Moonview Highway will be returning for the tour.

The Mario vs. Luigi Tour will wrap up on June 27th so there’s not long to wait until we can drive around Italy’s capital on mobile.
