One of the best parts of The Super Mario Bros. Movie is undeniably its soundtrack, with composer Brian Tyler expertly weaving iconic tunes into new arrangements. If you’d like to own it physically then iam8bit has you covered, with the company opening pre-orders for four physical versions.
For music loves you’ll want to check out either the two-disc vinyl set or the CD release; the former has a pink and yellow variant exclusive to iam8bit, while the latter has “Premium 4-Panel Packaging”.
If you want something more novel, though, you might be interested in either the cassette tape or 7″ vinyl. The cassette is decidedly retro, coming in a randomly picked red or blue color, and manages to feature the full soundtrack. The 7″ vinyl, meanwhile, is all about the iconic Peaches tune from Jack Black’s Bowser and the Super Mario Rap.
All four of these are available for pre-order and are expected to release in Q3, 2023.
