Last year, game developer Falcom and Tatsunoko Production announced a team-up for an anime based on its The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series. We’ve finally got that project’s first trailer and some initial details!
Subtitled “Northern War”, the anime will take place concurrently with the Cold Steel games but instead focus on characters from the North Ambria region. It will follow new protagonist Lavian Winslet as she joins a Jaegar corps and sets out on an undercover mission to Erebonia.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War will air in early 2023. A western release has yet to be confirmed.
