With Sonic himself being reprised by Ben Schwartz and Knuckles coming courtesy of Idris Elba, fans were no doubt curious who’d be voicing Miles “Tails” Prower in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie sequel. Well wait no more, as the genius pilot is flying high with a veteran actress that knows him better than most behind the mic.

Colleen O’Shaughnessey, who’s been Tails’ English voice actress since 2014, is returning as the foxboy. She also covered the character’s cameo in the first Sonic movie, and is the only voice from the games to carry over to the live action films.
With plenty of teasing for a Game Awards related Sonic announcement, we may be hearing her and the rest of the sequel’s cast sooner rather than later. After that the wait won’t be long, with Sonic the Hedgehog 2 heading to theaters April 8th, 2022.
