You know what’s cuter than a hamburger modeled after Kirby?
A hamburger modeled after Kirby…wearing a scarf.
Yes, the Kirby Café is changing with the seasons, and has introduced this year’s winter menu. The tasty offerings will apply to the Tokyo and Hakata locations, and are both brand new tastes and twists on familiar favorites.
Both the Kirby and Waddle Dee burgers are getting toastier top buns, though in this case it’s due to added winter wear. They’ll also be served with pasta dusted with a powdered cheese, giving the impression of fresh fallen snow. They’re joined by a vegetable and potato dish based on the original Kirby’s Dream Land final location, Mt. Dedede.
Kirby gets two other plates all to himself this time around, each capturing a core aspect of his personality. One is a warm stew with a pie crust on top, served with roast beef, that features the puff ball’s sleepy face — no doubt tuckered out from a day of playing in the snow. The other is a twist on the inhaling Kirby plates, where small vegetables and cheeses have been paired to look like sushi!
Rounding this one out are drinks and desserts. Have yourself a mug of tiramisu served by Waddle Dee, with plenty of creamy “snowballs” on top. As for Kirby, he’s enjoying a little ice fishing in the shade of Whispy Woods! That sentient tree is hiding a warm chocolate fondue, served alongside fruits for dipping and a caramel pudding. If you want something a little warmer, Whispy’s also got a hot apple cinnamon drink to get you feeling cozy.
All of these new, winter offerings will arrive at the Kirby Café beginning November 18th.
