Round up the Pikmin and get ready to take a stroll with your fellow users. Niantic has unveiled that Pikmin Bloom’s first Community Day event will be taking place next Saturday, November 13th. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (local time) Pikmin Bloom users are being asked to walk 10k steps throughout the day.

Players who walk with Pikmin Bloom on the 13th will receive several in-app rewards for their efforts. Pikmin seedlings in the user’s planter pack will grow at about 1.5x the usual speed, fruits will give double the usual amount of nectar, and big flowers will bloom into pansies. Additionally, users who actually complete the 10k step challenge will receive a “Community Day Participant” badge on their profile.
Niantic has also stated that the developer is continuing to develop new Pikmin Bloom events for the future. Will you be filling the world with hundreds of flowers next week? Be aware of your surroundings and get collecting!
