The Kirby Café presents itself as a relaxing, sit-down escape from the outside world, where the food is tasty and the memories sweet. For someone on the move, though, a new menu option will allow for some of that charm to leave with them. New takeout options have arrived, letting passersby and those on the move to grab a bite to eat based on both Kirby and the ever helpful Waddle Dee.

Announced over the weekend, both the Kirby Burger and Waddle Dee Burger will be available as to-go items starting October 8th. While Kirby is a traditional beef burger, Waddle Dee is instead a soy-based burger topped with avocado. Both are served with buns featuring their faces, and within round lunch boxes as an extra special present.

The food and container set goes for just under $20 after conversion, making this a bit of a premium to account for the souvenir sphere. This isn’t the first takeout option the Kirby Café has offered, as drinks and even small picnic sets meant for cherry blossom viewing have been available. The Kirby and Waddle Dee burgers will be available at both the Tokyo and Hakata locations, seemingly as a new permanent option.
