“Get over here”? More like get outta here.

The reveal trailer for the upcoming 2021 Mortal Kombat film adaptation was unleashed last week, and apparently, quite a few fans happened to notice. According to Warner Bros. Pictures, the trailer has become the most viewed red band trailer of all time, with Deadline reporting 116 million views within its first week.

In celebration of the milestone, Warner Bros. released a video showing various fan reactions to the trailer.

If you haven’t seen the trailer for yourself yet, be warned: It’s a “Red Band” trailer for a reason, with all of the gore and violence you would expect from the Mortal Kombat franchise. (We’re embedding it below, although you’ll have to click the video and browse to directly YouTube to watch it due to age-restricted content.)

With this amount of exposure, it seems the movie is already on its way to becoming a commercial success. Let’s hope it lives up to the hype when Mortal Kombat arrives in theaters and on HBO Max on April 16th, 2021.
