More than a few video game franchises are heading to Netflix lately, with the likes of Resident Evil and Cuphead being two recent significant projects. Now you can add Assassin’s Creed to the list.
While a Netflix-produced Assassin’s Creed anime was announced back in 2017, a recent report from Deadline has confirmed that the collaboration stretches even further than that, with the companies hoping to “develop live-action, animated, and anime series”.
The first project to enter production is a live-action series that’ll feature Ubisoft’s Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik as Executive Producers. Check out the first teaser:

The Nintendo Switch currently has four major Assassin’s Creed ports, with Assassin’s Creed III Remastered featuring the original game and the PlayStation Vita’s Liberation, while The Rebel Collection contains the piratical Black Flag and Rogue. Where these new projects will land in the expansive timeline of the franchise is anyone’s guess.
