Nintendo’s mobile version of Mario Kart is about to get a lot more traditional. In a new sneak-peek video, Mario Kart Tour’s official Twitter account shows off the next update’s landscape mode feature. This will flip the orientation for a more familiar experience to fans of the console games.

Naturally the new control layout will be familiar to fans of the console games too, with the steering being done with your left thumb. It looks like you still won’t be able to hop on command, however.
The update is scheduled to drop on July 21st.
