Mario Kart Tour, the mobile game version of Nintendo’s famous go-kart racing franchise, has been having a barrel full of bananas adding in members of the DK Crew. Previously announced, Funky Kong and Dixie Kong would enter the game’s gatcha-à la-warpipe during the Jungle Tour event. Split into waves, it was Dixie Kong’s turn to be available to pull in-game on Tuesday, May 26th.
To remind everyone of her appearance and to stir up those Diddy Kong Racing nostalgic memories, Nintendo has made a video of Dixie Kong’s history throughout the Donkey Kong franchise, as well as her appearance in various Super Mario games.
It's time to go bananas for the newest racer making a #MarioKartTour debut! It's her first time in the Mario Kart series, but this Kong is no stranger to the world of Nintendo! pic.twitter.com/lZRdvKIl5v

This isn’t the only video Nintendo has been having fun with. To advertise an in-game purchase bundle centered around Rambi Rider, another video was uploaded to Nintendo’s mobile gaming focused YouTube account:
You can find Funky Kong, Dixie Kong, and a variety of DK themed karts and gear in Mario Kart Tour until Tuesday, June 2nd, at 10:59 p.m. PT.
