Update: We’re adding new tweets to the list below as Mike Mignola updates his Twitter page with new sketches.
Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy and designer of various film and TV shows, has been quite busy during quarantine. Raising money for World Central Kitchen, an organization dedicated to providing meals for those in need and in time of disaster, Mignola has been sketching away and listing his drawings on eBay. His pieces aren’t limited to Hellboy either — he’s been drawing a number of characters from different series. Astro Boy, SpongeBob SquarePants, Kermit the Frog, Tony the Tiger, Ultraman, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe… you’ll find at least one character from a series you love.
Recently though, Mignola has been drawing a series of monsters that Nintendo fans are extremely familiar with: Pocket Monsters (Pokémon). So far Mignola has drawn Bulbasaur, Weezing, Slowbro, Scyther, Omastar, Nidoqueen, Lickitung, Gyarados, and Mew in his style and has shared them on his Twitter account.

There’s no word on whether or not any of these sketches will appear on eBay in the future (with all proceeds going to World Central Kitchen or being listed for a different charity auction, like April’s #Creators4Comics auction series). We’ll continue to follow any new developments concerning these pieces, so stay tuned.
