In response to the continued spread of COVID-19, Japan has now declared a state of emergency and issued stay at home guidelines for its more densely populated and affected prefectures, similar to those seen in the US and some other countries. This also means the temporary closure of non-essential businesses, including the Nintendo Tokyo store.

The store, which has been highly popular since its opening late last year, will notify customers when they can return via its official Twitter account.
