Without much fanfare this morning, Uniqlo’s UK division added some new Super Mario themed clothing to its online store. Once you get past the thumbnails, all listings are part of a bigger collection — Super Mario 35th Anniversary UT collection. Currently, only men’s size graphic tees and kid’s size tees and shorts are available. And in true Uniqlo fashion, some designs are limited to the split in age and gender. Here’s hoping that the collection will acquire a Super Mushroom and turn those kid shorts into adult size loungewear.
Uniqlo has yet to issue a formal press release about the collection and the items aren’t available on US and Japan’s site yet. We’ll continue to follow this newest Uniqlo collection and report back when the designs are available to more fans.
